Puyallup Fair

September 8 - 24, 2006

See WWC booth schedule and Volunteer Here

Once again have a booth the entire run of the Puyallup Fair. To pull this off requires many volunteers to organize and fill the shifts.

We welcome volunteers to staff the booths and help inform the public of our mission to promote professional fish and wildlife management and protect consumptive use of animals and their products. We'll have informational brochures to pass out and, speaking from experience, just meeting and talking to people is one of the most interesting ways to spend some time there is. All volunteers who staff one of the shifts will receive an admission ticket for that day and can use the free employees' parking lot. Several folks who sign up do so in pairs, that way they can spend the hours outside of their shift enjoying the Fair.

WWC Member organizations are encouraged to volunteer for an entire day; a "Volunteer Group of the Day" area will be set aside in the booth for your logo and brochure. Conservationists come from all walks of life and interests, let's let the public know that!
